Tenant Testimonial

“I love my shop in the Tyson building. The office and maintenance people are positive and helpful, like a big family. We work around each other. I like being part of what’s happening with these historical buildings, all the new people and interesting things they’re doing."

— Stephen Caro, Great Lakes Yurts

Historic Spotlight

Connecting Manufacturing History and Community

The Frost Gear and Forge Company was an automobile parts manufacturer founded in 1907 by Edward J. Frost. He was on the Jackson School Board from 1919 to 1937 and Frost Intermediate School was named in his honor. His company was purchased by Clark Equipment in 1928 and gears were forged here until 1937.

The Commercial Exchange purchased the building in the 1980’s to build Fans and Blowers. The venue has also housed Educator Sales, a company that built modular buildings to provide flexible classrooms for changing church and school populations.

Today we provide distribution warehousing for companies from around the globe.
